Ginny, I don't have any idea about why your download was blocked but the
number for Amazon where you can speak with a real person is 800-201-7575.

Thanks so much to all of you who took the time to point out how much of a
pain learning to use iTunes apparently can be. I now know what I am up
against if I ever try to learn it. I have been using the amazonmp3.com site
recently for a couple of paid downloads. One problem I have had suddenly,
is a download I bought for an online history of Jazz class I was taking via
blackboard learningSystem. I just wanted some extra music to add to my jazz
history course materials. So I bought an older Miles Davis album as a
download, and then I got this prompt, Internet explorer has blocked your
download. I do not know why this happened, and I have not had time to
trouble shoot it. I did, with some effort, find a phone number for Amazon,
and they set me up with the download again. I will try it later. Any
generic theories as to why the download was blocked would be wonderful to
hear at this point. Also, does anyone have a phone number for Amazon to
talk to a real person as I have misplaced the number? I understand the
mobile amazon site is easier to use, but until recently I have not had much
trouble with the regular site. Thanks, Ginny

ITunes is a bear to use. However, much is available on ITunes that isn't
available on other sites. I don't use ITunes, don't like their proprietary
format and don't like how the site isn't easy to use, but often there are
things I would buy if I could. I like MP3's tht can be played on many
different players.

Hello Tom,

Yes itunes files (m4a format) can now be played on the stream.

The toughest part of this will be learning to use iTunes.

My personal recomendation is that if you don't need to use iTunes for some
other purpose, I wouldn't bother learning it.

That is, if you're not using an iPhone, if you haven't already purchased
music from the iTunes store, and if you don't have a strong desire to use
the m4a format; then there's no good reason for learning iTunes.

Instead, buy your music online from Amazon, or some other online site that
supports mp3 downloads.
