Susie, I don't use an Amazon Kindle but based on my reading, Kindle e-books
are protected with DRM or digital rights management. There are ways using
the free Calibre program to remove DRM and then save the Kindle format books
to other formats but Calibre is not an accessible program from what I've
heard and the process is involved. Also, removing DRM from Kindle books
bought by another for your use would be illegal I believe.

Subject: [Vrstream] Kindle to victor reader stream question?
Hi can some one tell me, if some one has a book on their kindle, and puts it
on my computer, can I place it on the stream?
I am asking because my mom has a kindle, and two books that I am looking
for, and I was wondering if I could place the file from her kindle, to my
computer then to my stream? I hope this is not too crazy? susie
